Jonell Nash recently left her post as the food editor for Essence Magazine. A replacement has not been named. The magazine's owner, Time, Inc., recently announced company-wide staff cuts. Essence provides black women with news and information on entertainment, social and business topics. It covers health, beauty, entertainment, travel and lifestyle updates, as well as reporting on the financial, political and social issues pertaining to black women today.
